Indiatimes mail down

Today Indiatimes mail is down and still i can see the company working on it. This shows that they are not serious about the business at all. Indiatimes is known for its news as well as entertainment content, gaana.com is a good start in the streaming content, but apart from that they do not seem to be serious about the business. Mail is treated as non-existence part of the company. If its is so they should not offer it as service to consumer.

I am using tumblr account which was registered using indiatimes mail, that also comes to the danger zone due to all this. This is really a bad experience for the user.

Same kind of approach I see among many other Indian mail service providers like in.com, india.com etc. who are bad in delivery of mails. This means I not aware that whether mail will be delivered or not, will I recieve all the mails sent to me or not.

So, if you want to be away from all these, its my recommendation that sign up for mail services like gmail, hotmail, ymail, rediffmail etc. whose main focus is email as they have a separate department in the company which works on this specific product.

Email is an essential solution for any web user and should be build seriously. Each company should have a separate department working on email solution, then only they can give user a better experience and robust system. Never forget email is a big source of revenue on the web.

This brings to the focus of the need of good start-ups in the Indian Internet Industry who can bring innovation in new dimensions like micro-blogging or already saturated dimension like email, social etc or may discover new dimensions. They need to bring !dea as well as polish the solution to be world class. This will not only generate new source of income but also jobs.

Hope, Indian Internet Industry will realize soon and will bring a better ecosystem to fight against multinationals.

Is Mumbai on right track?

Today when  I see Mumbai completely crowded. There is only one question that arise to my mind that : Is Mumbai on right track? Is this what we dream for Mumbai?

Mumbai - the city of dreams, is the place where more than 10 million people live. The place has beautiful places to explore as well as lots of huge building to stare, but in a city as big as Mumbai, it looks like they are in traces. The city needs more, more healthy life, happy living and peace.

We come to Mumbai to make our life better, but forgets all LIFE and runs after the money. This in turn make us all sick, sick for money and somewhere we loose our life, family and most importantly us. Life somewhere is lost between the crowded, hard to find. We have only few so called friends left. friends with whom we dont know that how long we will be. Office becomes a place more familiar than home. Then arise a question that whether we are happy and this is what we always wanted to do.

The answer is neither yes nor no. Not yes, because we always wanted to see our family happy, who are far and missing us. Not no, because living with them would not have given us what all we have now i.e. money, without which we cant achieve a life we always want to be. We are now lost more in what we need to do, what exactly we need to achieve.

Simple answer to all this confusion is that live for few years in Mumbai and earn what you wanted to. After that go back to your city and find a job there so that you can spent time with your family and gain back all you always wanted.

Mumbai being a city where all multi-nationals will keep coming and earning. Its not a place for the entrepreneurs and brain who want to create something of its own. A city like Bangalore has gain that position. Mumbai has become a city of short-term where you come and earn, after that get back to your home town, and live happily thereafter.
